Poipu Beach Force Main and Reclaim Pipelines Installed on Kauai by Earthworks Pacific using FPVC™
In October 2007, Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGSI) teamed with Earthworks Pacific to provide UGSI's FPVC™ pipe systems as a valued engineered solution for the new force main and reclaim lines installed as part of the new Koloa Regional WWTP infrastructure project near Poipu Beach, HI.

FPVC™ and HDPE were both considered suitable pipe materials for this project. Following a technical and commercial value-engineering analysis, FPVC™ was selected due to the ability to downsize the force main pipeline from 16" HDPE pipe to a 14" FPVC™ while providing increased flow and cyclic design capacity.
Project Manager, Ann Sokei with Aqua Engineers stated: "The project went as scheduled and we were excited to be able to provide a value-engineered proposal to our client. We will continue to specify this material on other upcoming projects".
