On July 11th, 2007, Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGSI) and the City of New Orleans repaired a section of a failing 80-year old 36" cast iron water main that was heavily leaking at the exit of Carrolton Pump Station No. 10. The 36" water main feeds major parts of the City, including nearby hospitals.
Underground Solutions® 24" Fusible C-905® was successfully sliplined and grouted in place. The entrance and exit pits were excavated by Boh Bros. Construction.
